Walton, Fisher injured at training camp

HONOLULU — Luke Walton and Derek Fisher sustained minor injuries Friday during the Los Angeles Lakers’ training camp.
Walton strained his right hamstring and is listed as day-to-day. Fisher received a deep one-inch gash to the forehead when he took an elbow from center Larry Turner.

Lakers, including Kobe Bryant, head to Hawaii. They go into training camp with their star saying he is ‘a soldier’ who will leave it up to management to make changes. Lamar Odom, Kwame Brown and, to a lesser extent, Andrew Bynum, are injured.
